The Consulate General of France in Kolkata is recruiting for the post of a driver

Location :
Consulate General of France in Kolkata
21 C, Raja Santosh Road, Alipore, Kolkata - 700 027

The post of Driver will be based out of the Consulate General of France in Calcutta.
Travel will be restricted to mainly within the city limits of Calcutta.
The driver may, on occasion, be called upon to make trips within the jurisdiction.

Responsibilities:
Driving the staff of the Consulate
Receive and transport visiting dignitaries
Carrying and proceeding with the formalities relating to the diplomatic bag,
Carry out all procedures (payment of bills, transport of mail, etc.),
Maintenance and cleaning of the vehicles.

Qualifications required:
Ability to drive all types of vehicles
Knowledge of the city and the main routes,
Availability at all hours and emergency
Capable of working under pressure
Honesty and discretion,
Confidentiality,
Neat presentation,
Fluent in English

Special working conditions:
Flexible working hours,
Recoverable overtime.

Recruitment conditions:
12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract at the end of the term.
